Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures is a family—literally. As direct descendants of Morocco’s first dynasty, the Idrissi Dynasty, our family history is deeply intertwined with the history of Morocco.
Our Heritage
Our story begins in the Valley of Roses, where generations of the Idrissi family have lived close to the land, their community and their Amazigh heritage.
We founded Morocco Immersion because of our love for our culture and our desire to share the beauty and magic of the real Morocco with the world.

Co-Founder & Chief Immersion Planner
American by birth and Amazigh by marriage, Sharon first traveled to Morocco as a tourist and fell in love with the country, its people—and one person in particular.
She has since traveled extensively throughout Morocco and especially enjoys discovering secret places away from the beaten path.
Sharon holds a BA in Literature from West Chester University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Florida. After careers supporting children and working in IT, she now leads operations and communications while helping guests discover Morocco.
Founder & Fearless Leader
Born and raised in a small Amazigh village in the Valley of Roses, Abdou learned early to value the land, nature and community.
While studying law at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, he supported himself and his family by working as a mountain guide on weekends. He has since gained more than 20 years of experience in Moroccan tourism.
Abdou served as president of his village association for nine years. He helped establish a local rose-products cooperative and supported the installation of solar-powered water systems for village families. We call him the Big Boss, but you can call him Abdou.
Senior Immersion Manager & Driver
Hicham is proud to show guests the beauty of Morocco and share his Amazigh culture and identity.
He loves adventure and off-road travel while always taking comfort and safety seriously. He studied French Literature, enjoys learning languages and is always happy to teach guests a few Amazigh words.
Before becoming a driver and guide, Hicham spent five years managing the family business in the Valley of Roses. He is also a talented photographer who knows where to capture the perfect Berber Selfie.
Senior Immersion Manager & Local Liaison
The youngest Idrissi brother, Abdelhadi is an immersion manager, driver, local liaison and tour coordinator who helps transform each guest’s dream trip into reality.
Known by his stage name Amnay, he is also a talented musician and singer-songwriter.
As an Amazigh artist, he offers a unique perspective on Moroccan history, music and the arts. Do not be surprised if someone stops him for a photograph—you may be traveling with a Moroccan rock star.
Multi-Sport Adventure Specialist
Originally from the Valley of Roses, Essaddik is the adventure specialist of the Morocco Immersion family.
He has more than 15 years of experience leading hiking, cycling, motorbike and multi-sport adventures across Morocco.
His knowledge of the mountains and desert, together with his relaxed and friendly personality, makes every adventure safe, exciting and memorable.
